Reinhardt Software GmbH was founded in 1987 by Marc Reinhardt. During the first years, we acted as subcontracted developer for larger software houses. This changed in 1990, when we started the development of our first communications system, RSCOMM 1.0. Dealing with the local market initially, our activities have constantly been extended worldwide. Our focus was set, but not limited, to the shipping industry from the very beginning.

In 1996 we started developing RSSHIP, an integrated Shipping solution covering Vessels Database, Positionlist, S&P Modules, Voyage & Laytime Calculation and more.  It was completed with a Hire Freight Commission solution in 2002.
